We are looking for a skilled Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of baked goods, such as bread, pastries, and desserts. The Baker will follow recipes and techniques to create high-quality baked goods that meet our customers’ expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and will be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and techniques.
  2. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure that all baked goods meet quality and hygiene standards.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of baking supplies, such as flour, sugar, and butter, and order supplies as needed.
  4. Assist with the design and development of new baked goods, and create specialty items as requested.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and tools.
  6. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all orders are completed on time and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Formal training in baking and pastry arts from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
  3. 2-3 years of experience in a baking role, with experience in bread, pastry, and cake making.
  4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  5. Ability to follow recipes and prepare baked goods in large quantities.
  6. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Willingness to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
