We are seeking a responsible and experienced nanny to join our team. As a nanny, you will provide quality childcare to our client’s children in their home. You will be responsible for the children’s well-being, including their physical, emotional, and mental development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
  2. Plan and prepare meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  3. Assist with dressing, bathing, and grooming the children as needed.
  4. Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities and playtime, including outdoor activities.
  5. Create a structured routine and help with homework, if applicable.
  6. Monitor the children’s health and well-being, and communicate any concerns to the parents.
  7. Keep the children’s play and living areas clean and tidy.
  8. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dishes related to the children.
  9. Maintain accurate records of the children’s daily activities and progress.
  10. Coordinate and communicate with the parents regarding the children’s schedules, activities, and progress.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with children of different ages.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Ability to adapt to different household routines and schedules.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry children up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform various activities such as bending, stooping, and reaching.

Tasks

  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
