Duties & Responsibilities
Evaluate the chemical and nutritional value of feed products
Formulate feed compilations and rations to maximise growth, reproduction, health and performance
Research the effectiveness of dietary regimes
Liaise with clients to understand their targets and objectives, and the specific needs of the market
Monitor feed formulations to meet quality performance and animal health standards
provide advice on nutrition to farmers and other clients
Rationalise animal feed manufacturing techniques
Carry out sales and marketing strategies as required
Maintain expertise in nutritional trends and keep up to date with regulatory changes
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
B.Sc. Agricultural Qualification
Min 3 years working experience in a Feed Specialist Position
Drivers licence and own transport
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills
Client orientated
Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel)
Package & Remuneration
Market Related and negotiable based on experience
