Our client in the Optometry field seeks the skills and expertise of a Merchandiser for the national stores.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Merchandising in stores to ensure shelf space is maximized and products are adequately displayed
Build in-store displays
Pricing and cost negotiating
Fashion forecasting
Merchandise planning
Buying
Vendor management
Taking orders
Checking and tidying of displays
Non-negotiable requirements:

Tertiary qualification (NQF 6/7) with above average results
Drivers licence
Willing to frequently travel nationally
Previous merchandising/field marketing experience
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work retail hours
Organized and self-managed
