About the Position
The Appointment Setter exists to assist Head of Sales and the Sales Consultants with setting of quality new business meetings with the right stakeholders through excellent telephonic customer engagement.
The Appointment Setter forms a part of and plays a critical role within the Sales Team in the achievement of set monthly sales targets by:
Search for and / or obtain new business leads from the Master Database
Ensure that merchants contacted meet the ideal Merchant client specification
Investigate and gather relevant information before contacting merchant
Set appointments on behalf of the Sales Consultants within area of responsibility
Surprising and delighting customers where ever possible
Output activity targets met or exceeded weekly
Ensures that Sales Force is updated and accurate at all times

Good communication skills
Analytical
Target driven
Must have a friendly and professional manner
Client relationship management
Experience in Cold Calling
The Appointment Setter reports to the Head of Sales
