NORTH-WEST UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR NUTRITION VACANCY: CLINICAL RESEARCH SUPPORT MANAGER POSITION NUMBER: P000111 PERMANENT Purpose of the position: To strengthen and support research activities at the Centre of Excellence for Nutrition.
Description
Nursing skills (including phlebotomy in children)
Good knowledge of scientific study protocols, standard operating procedures and study specific procedures
Good Clinical Practice
Basic financial management skills
Code B driver's licence
Good planning, organising and delegation skills
Ability to effectively communicate with study participants and staff alike
Assertiveness and the ability to work independently


Profile
B-Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Registration with South African Nursing Council
At least 2 years' experience in a clinical research environment or as study coordinator
Staff supervision and management experience
Computer literacy - competence in MS Word and Excel
Demonstration of oral and written language proficiency on order to function optimally in the multilingual environment of the NWU
