Job description

Use Data Analytics techniques to drive business strategy and performance and assist team members and business on critical projects and ad hoc tasks as and when required


Key Areas of Responsibility may include but are not limited to

Source, cleanse, refine and verify the integrity of data used for analysis

Extend and integrate data with third party data sources

Develop and/or implement a machine learning capability

Present findings and influence decision making based on the value extracted through data intelligence throughout the company


Minimum requirements

Qualification

BSc or BCom in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science and Analytics or equivalent diploma

Experience

2 – 3 years in data science, visualization techniques and common data science toolkits

At least 3 years’ experience with Microsoft data techniques

Ability to use excel advance statistical and data features

Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms

Understanding of big data and the challenges involved

Experience with text mining is advantageous

Experience in a banking environment would be advantageous
