Job description

Generator manufacturing (OEM) company seeks professional candidate for "Generator Sales and Office Administration" position.

Position description:

Experience in industrial Generator sales and service coordination forms a crucial part of the position.

Industrial Generator sales:
Candidate must have previous working experience in industrial Generator sales and will have an active role in dealing with existing clients as well as sourcing and canvassing new clients. Targets and deadlines must be adhered to at all times. Candidate must be able to prepare quotes, actively follow up on quotes and must have the skillset to negotiate with potential clients.

Servicing and maintenance coordination:
Candidate will be expected to quote and coordinate services and routine maintenance queries of all Gensets.

Administrative duties:
In addition to the above, candidate have strong administrative skills and will be expected to complete the following administrative duties:

Basic procurement of spares and components.
Basic debtor and creditor processing.
Customer care - Candidate will be expected to deal with customers and resolve queries independently.
Candidate must have the following skill set:

Generator sales experience is ESSENTIAL (min 5 years).
Experience in fielding internal sales enquiries, preparing quotations, active following up and negotiation.
Office administration experience is ESSENTIAL (min 5 years)
Candidate qualities:

Candidate must have a passion for life and a friendly yet focused disposition.
Candidate must conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times.
Seeking hardworking and self motivated individual who must be able to work independently and complete crucial functions as part of a team.
Time management / Organizational skills essential.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - preferably in English.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Computer literacy and working knowledge essential.
Flexible and able to adapt in various working environments / fulfill various admin/adhoc tasks.
Previous working experience essential and candidate must supply contactable references prior to interview.

Must have own transport to Walkers Fruit Farms (Meyerton).
