Job Purpose and Impact

The Junior Farm Marketer will be responsible for the procurement of physical grains and oilseeds, and fulfil transactions and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quantity and cost. We seek a professional who will help buy commodities from farmers, assist in crop analysis, market analysis and strategy implementation. Key Accountabilities

Collaborate with transportation and logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and credit manager to ensure efficient execution and resolve routine problems.
Work with the commercial team on the planning and strategy for farmer purchases.
Help plan purchases and transportation to maximise profitable use of stock and storage facilities.
Research and analyse various freight opportunities in the marketplace to maximise margin.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Establish and manage relationships with farmers.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
