Introduction
We specialise in the hospitality industry and we are looking for a Social Media / Online Copywriter to interact with on behalf of our customers and promote their products and services on social networks. Responsibilities include updating our social media pages, responding to followers, tracking user engagement as well as creating blogs. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills and experience advertising on multiple social networks. Ultimately, you will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent for our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities

Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube.
Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors.
Select appealing images and videos to complement the text.
Update social media pages with compelling news.
Will have worked with content management systems such as Hootsuite.
Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising.
Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates).
Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Good with website updates - Platform is Wordpress.
Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner.
Create blog content for our clients.
Create email campaigns for our clients on platforms such as MailChimp.
* Advantage if you are a photographer.
Desired Experience & Qualification


Requirements

Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role.
Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise.
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Familiarity with online paid advertising.
Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image, and video).
Excellent communication skills.
Hands on experience with email campaigns.
Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field.
Will need to travel to luxury game lodges to gather content.
Working knowledge of Wordpress.
Package & Remuneration
Salary: R10 000 negotiable a month CTC depending on experience.
