Main Purpose of the Job
Pam Golding Properties (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Administrator for our Rentals Department who is self-motivated, independent and mature to accurately administrate and co-ordinate all maintenance that is required before the tenant occupies the property and after the tenant vacates the property. The person will also be the point of contact for all service providers that the department uses to maintain the properties on the rental portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage out-going inspections when tenants vacate
Communicate with rental manager or head office rental administration for the release of deposit once all maintenance issues resolved with the tenant
Assisting the rental manager with department reports
Responding to maintenance enquiries
Coordinating property repairs and maintenance with contractors
Ensuring that landlord and Tenants are up-to-date with on-going maintenance issues
Receiving all incoming maintenance repair requests from tenants and property managers through online, email or phone requests
Identifying correct maintenance technician for repair
Follow up on appointments daily to ensure external contractors arrive at properties on time
Confirm receipt of request, date/time repair is scheduled, and follow up to verify completion of item
Communicate status of request to manager as necessary

Education & Experience
Matric / Grade 12
Certificate or Diploma in administration preferred
Minimum 1-3 years working experience in a Maintenance administration within a rental department
Knowledge & Skills Required
Knowledge of property industry specifically working within maintenance environment and leases.
Good understanding of property maintenance and its management.
