Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Cool Drink Equipments department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for Operations Trainee : CDE, which is based in CCBSA Linbro Park .
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Gain knowledge and understanding of the various Logistics functions as part of a comprehensive development program working closely with management team.
Understand the CCBA_SA order to payment process and the impact of each business unit on Warehouse and Distribution.
Understand supply chain synchronisation and lean logistics.
Develop and implement plans to optimise the operation by aligning resources to activity levels.
Improve depot performance in Warehouse
Manage supplier and outsourced relationships effectively
Support the region in rolling out business strategy
Ensure standardisation of operating practices
Ensure standardisation of productivity measures
Sharing of operational best practices across the regions
Monitor the execution of Depot plans
Analyse customer service and design plans to close gaps
Monthly analysis on Key Performance Indicators
Coordinate activities between Depots and Regional office
Coordinate activities in multiple projects
Administrative tasks in warehouse excellence team
Coordinate project activities and update project plans
Engage with all project workstream leads
Conduct administrative tasks in the warehouse excellence team
Travel to sites
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications:
Matric with a 3-year relevant management qualification in at least one of the following areas:
Engineering
Logistics
Technical Service Management
Experience:
Relevant experience in a FMCG/service environment with 2 β 3 years management experience.
A minimum of 2-5 years post-qualification experience
A minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in Logistics
Competencies:
Cooling Equipment warehousing and distribution.
Cooler in trade maintenance
Spare part management and controls.
Managed financials and budgeting
Customer service excellence
Route planning and scheduling
Reports and managed information
Managed vehicle fleet
Tool management and controls
Maintained safety, health and environmental standards
Achieved quality standards
Set goals and drive team performance
Leadership, support and guidance
Self-managed development
