We have an opportunity available for an experienced Retail
Merchandising Assistant to be based at our retail store in Sandton. The
ideal candidate will have the following attributes and be accountable in the
following areas: Receiving, dispatching,
and merchandising of stock Merchandising of stock
& product correctly in store with the Visual Merchandiser Moving, lifting &
carrying of stock items Housekeeping and
maintenance of the stock room (basement), adhering to Health & Safety
requirements, storage standards and security measures General maintenance as
required; hanging of lights, fittings, fixtures, paintings and moving
settings Ensure documentation is
correct for customer orders/loads Ongoing maintenance of
product knowledge

Requirements & attributes: Min completed Grade 12
qualification Computer literacy (MS
Office & stock systems)Previous Retail
experience essential (furniture & home ware) – able to work retail
hours Able to work
independently, without supervision Excellent handyman &
electrical skills
