Coordinate with line manager to determine an efficient business plan to achieve all annual sales goals
Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
Manage and interpret customer requirements through speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
Maintain accurate records of pricing and ensure that authorised product contribution margins are adhered to
Expand market awareness of Duraset’s products by communicating our features and benefits of our products and services
Work closely with the sales administration team to prepare responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information)
Compile an accurate monthly production forecast based on customer demand and ensure that manufactured or bought-out products are sold
Participate in Sales and Operations Planning meetings to ensure that customer products are effectively planned for and delivered on time in full
Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
Submit quarterly customer visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up
Identify and resolve client concerns in collaboration with the technical team, recommending a course of action to prevent future similar concerns
Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Work with the technical team to ensure customer project requirements are met
Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager

Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
The ability to quickly learn a vast product portfolio
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
Be able to apply their sales ability as well as their technical ability
Microsoft Office proficiency
Be willing enter mining underground environments
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Must be self-disciplined and target driven
Technical communication / negotiation ability
Good reporting abilities, both verbal and written
Work requires a fair amount of travel to current and potential clients
Requires the possession of a valid driver’s license
