Establishment and Achievement of Objectives:
Understands sales goals and assists with establishing business plans.
Coordinates efforts to fulfil quarterly and annual objectives.
Reassesses objectives and obstacles with manager as necessary. Achieves annual sales targets and objectives.
Sales and Marketing:
Learns and applies business unit marketing policies, procedures and plans.
Utilizes selling process to achieve sales results.
Demonstrates knowledge and use of social selling tools to create connections with Industry and Customers.
Learns to demonstrate and train external customers on product applications.
Represents business unit products and services to customers and prospects.
May provide appropriate sales support services to customers and distributors, based on level of knowledge.
Demonstrates understanding of individual product value propositions.
Proactively reports all new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitor activities, and product performance information to supervisor.
Coordination and Planning:
Learns to plan and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities.
Works within budget guidelines.
Administration:
Maintains and communicates account and prospect information, maintains company resources, and sales support materials.
Leadership:
Develops and establishes relationships with accounts and prospects. Accepts direction as appropriate.
Development:
Continuously expected to learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, applications, selling, administrative, and other skills.
Policy:
Learns and applies the business unit's sales policies, practices and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement - Matric
Tertiary education & industry experience will be an advantage
Valid driver’s licence
Own reliable care
Previous experience in Health Care will be advantages
Will be required attend to exhibitions & conferences which could extend over weekends
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned
Required skills and competencies:
Excellent Sound Business Acumen – in depth understanding of the business across the entire value chain.
Channel Partner Effectiveness – Excellent understanding of the channel to be able to accelerate marketing activities & selling cycles to accomplish sales objectives
Customer Knowledge – Deep understanding of customer’s business
Product Knowledge - excellent understanding of product portfolio
Customers Relationships - ability to build and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks
Excellent communications skills will be a pre- requisite
Track record of over-achieving targets in the sales representative position
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
