Cold calling and new business will be one of the key elements so the ability to work alone and grow the client base
Take accountability for territory assigned
Educate customers on new developments
Keep abreast of market changes and developments in assigned area
Supply daily/weekly/monthly feedback on whereabouts and all customer and potential customer specific needs/wants
Resolve clients queries
Keeping thoroughly professional at all times
Operating within rate parameters freely
Record customer information correctly and timeously
Obtain correctly completed credit applications
Thoroughly cover all aspects of hire and conditions with new and existing clients
Assist with collection of outstanding monies
Respect company policies
Respect all clients and staff
Cross selling of sister companies
Attend weekly sales meetings to provide feedback on industry developments/changes, vehicle requirements, growth expectations and problems experienced
Assist operations and accounts department with any issues that need to be addressed
Ensure that clients are visited a minimum of once a month dependent on spend and necessity
