We are seeking an experienced Senior Alarm Technician to join our dynamic Technical Department focussing on Intrusion Products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Electronics Diploma
8 years relevant working experience in intrusion
Exceptional technical knowledge of intrusion products eg alarm panels
Be familiar with SAIDSA bylaws - registered advantageous
Networking knowledge
Knowledge of control room equipment and reporting an advantage
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure product training on all Intrusion products to customers and staff members meet the product standards.
Provide technical support on all Intrusion products to existing customers and branches.
Provide sales support to the sales representative where appropriate.
Reporting.
Assist in product evaluation.
Assist in finding gaps and short comings in our Intrusion product line and Intrusion support offerings at branch level.
Provide technical feedback on product trends and recommendations for product enhancements.
Manage technical material for all Intrusion products.
Keep FTP server up to date with necessary marketing and technical materials and manuals.
Maintain and upgrade, where necessary, the existing Head Office and Warehouse Intrusion security system.
