JOB PURPOSE
Social Media & Communications Specialist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability in using digital tools and social media to achieve communications objectives.
Leverage and measure efforts on social media platforms to achieve business objectives, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google and other new media (both paid and organic).
Develop well thought out analytic reports highlighting performance, insights and recommendations that serve business and communication objectives.
Manage social media, website, hellopeter queries and complaints
Assist with point-of-sale requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or related field
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in communications strategy development (essential
Working knowledge of digital tools including a monitoring / analytics system (such as Meltwater, Facebook and Google analytics).
Exceptional research, writing and communication skills.
Ability to operate in fast paced, client service environment.
Ability to quickly adapt content to suit different publication channels.
