The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 6 on the 10 Level NQF or Level 5 on the 8 Level NQF, or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with websites, both from a content perspective and from a technical perspective is required.
An appropriate qualification or course on coding programming languages like HTML, XML, Java, CSS or related is also required.
An NQF Level 7 qualification on the 10-Level NQF, NQF Level 6 qualification on the 8-Level NQF, or a qualification in project management with more than 4 years of experience in working with websites would be advantageous.
The incumbent must have a good knowledge of the back end of websites, uploading files to the website, website design, RSS feeder, digitisation and trends in IT, IT security, and content generation.
Creativity, project management, and proficient use of relevant software and programming languages should be the skills of those aspiring for this appointment.
The ability to write well in English is essential.
Duties : β€’ Manage and maintain web content and design to ensure that the SAQA website is functional, relevant, and up to date.
Manage and update the back end of the SAQA website and its content.
Manage access control to the back end of the SAQA website as the Super user.
Develop code/s for minor additions or changes on the SAQA website.
Review web content, links, and design by providing necessary updates and enhancements in a timely manner.
Identify useful site performance metrics, collect, track, and report on site usage data.
Discuss, review, and resolve usability issues with the service provider.
Work with a service provider hosting the SAQA website.
