A Dynamic Company who source, procure and supply any chemical raw materials, minerals, and engineering products/instruments are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant (Chemical) to join their team in Cape Town.

The successful Technical Sales Consultant must have:

Degree and 1 - 3+ years’ experience in chemicals.
Experience in the bulk chemical raw material industry as well as strong negotiating skills and sales experience advantageous
Target driven
Must have valid driver’s licence and own car
People’s person
Responsibilities Technical Sales Consultant:

Have some form of technical experience in these industries, and it would be a great bonus if they already have a few contacts/leads, which they can pursue should they be hired.
Be well groomed, and able to sell.
Ability to close deals and be able to speak the lingo in the chemical and/or mechanical engineering industry.
In between chasing new leads, they would also be required to complete RFQ’s and tenders for our government and parastatal clients – however, their main focus would be new business/private clients.
Salary

Salary range: R8000 – R15 000 (depending on experience) + cell allowance of R250 + commission structure
6-month probation period, one-year contract with the possibility of permanency after the year.
