Job description

Transport route scheduling and optimization
Manage planning related aspects pertaining to store openings and closures
Resolving of branch related queries within the planning (and related departments) scope
Process improvements and supply chain coordination between sites and DCs operations
System management (Relevant within the operational and transport environment)
Analyse planning and operational efficiencies
Daily plan extractions
Client service and communication
Requirements

Matric with a relevant Degree in Logistics / Industrial Engineering / Operational Research
Up to 2 years’ route scheduling experience in an FMCG environment or related experience
Knowledge of SAP, SAP retail (or similar ERP systems) and DC operations
Computer literate in Google Suite / Microsoft packages
Ortec routing and distribution (or related route optimization software)
Infor WMS 2000 Warehouse Management System or related
Transport Management Systems experience will be advantageous
Must be prepared to work shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R17,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
