Our client based in Chatsworth, just outside of Pinetown, is looking to employ an Admin Assistant to provide administrative assistance to operational staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Invoices, Emails,
Scheduling of tasks,
Telephonic communication with customers, staff on the field, and management,
Interaction with contractors and drivers,
Compiling daily reports by making use of MS Word and Excel,
Checking loads,
Vehicle checks with drivers,
Keeping records of equipment,
Checking what tools are physically broken and what needs to be replaced,
Passing on messages as to where the people need to go for the day,
Monitoring the guys that are working in the yard,
Monitoring off-site jobs by calling the worker to check that the job is complete.

KEY ATTRIBUTES, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric/Grade 12,
Own reliable transport,
Computer Literate,
Fluent in both English and Afrikaans,
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
3+ Years of experience as an administrator and/or admin assistant.

Experience:
Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (Preferred)
