Administrative Assistant – Front Office & Sales Support (Briardene – Durban)
A leading manufacturer and distributor in the office, kitchen, furniture and shop fitting industry invite applications of a suitably qualified, experienced, energetic, organized, well groomed and professional candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant – Front Office and Sales Support. The position will be basedat the Durban branch office in Briardene, Durban.
Overview
Render a full administrative support function to the branch operations and personnel including but not limited to reception, sales support to sales consultants/clients, branch reporting, daily cash sales recon, oversee office facilities, co-ordination of activity schedules. Incumbent will be responsible for the overall effective and efficient functioning of front of office activities.
Minimum requirements
· Gr 12 supported by an applicable formal Secretarial/Office Administration qualification.
· 3 – 5 year's experience with applied skills in providing an integrated administrative function within a business/branch office environment.
· Experience in sales and warehouse administration will be an advantage.
· Ability to function effectively within a formal business and/or social setting supported by sound knowledge of etiquette, professional personal conduct.
· High proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel (Intermediate level).
· Experience in the use and application of business management system e.g IQ, SYSPRO, Accpac, SAP will be beneficial.
· Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.
· Sound understanding of business processes, communication and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
· Sound organizing, planning and time management skills.
· An accredited and valid South African driver's license.
· Professional, energetic, sound judgment, proactive, organized, focus on detail, performance and outcomes orientated
· Be available to work extended hours and/or render branch sales assistance on Saturdays (rotating schedule).
Remuneration: Monthly Total Cost of Employment package including Retirement Annuity and Group Risk Scheme ( Life / Disability/Funeral cover).
