A great family is looking for an AU PAIR to assist with their 11 months old

Area: Fourways
Children’s Ages: Son aged 11 months old
Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 09h00 – 15h00.
Duties: General care and assistance / supervision of the child, document the daily activities of the child, note down bottle feeding / naps schedules, prepare feeds such as formula and smoothies by following parents’ instructions appropriately, bathe, groom, and wash infants and ensure that their clothes are changed several times a day, massage babies on a regular basis to ensure proper blood circulation and their physical and emotional wellbeing, provide comfort to agitated babies employing specific infant handling strategies and procedures such as soothing, encourage social interaction and teach infants to be friendly and expressive, change diapers and assist parents in toilet training their children, lead educational activities such as reading, from a young age, in a bid to develop their interest in general reading. Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games). Administer medication to unwell children, under specific instructions provided by their parents. Tidy play areas and put away toys, in addition to ensuring that all play areas and toys are kept clean and sanitized. Run family errands such as grocery shopping and paying utility bills when requested. Provide nurturing love and security by keeping them safe and happy at all times.
Special Requirements: Affectionately care for one boy of 11 months. Be able to perform CPR and have completed a first aid course. Previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter. Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages. Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children. Multitasking skills. A pleasant and patient personality. Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and in the evening. High school diploma; further training in child development is a plus. Must be able to swim.
Start Date and contract term: April 2022 start

Salary: R8000 - R9000 per month plus petrol

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
