Purpose of the Role:


The role contributes to operational efficiency by ensuring the adherence to in taking of Raw Materials and carrying out incoming inspections and sampling of raw materials, thus ensuring high availability, reliability and superior operational performance.


Key responsibilities:


Safety


The ability to create and maintain a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors according to the applicable Statutory, Heineken and local regulations, policies and procedures.


Incoming Inspections of Raw Materials


The ability to check and verify the raw materials received for brewing, identifying issues related to good or bad product and escalate any deviations in this process.


Intake of Raw Materials


The ability to prepare, execute, the in taking of raw materials in conjunction with the brewing team to ensure operational efficiency.

Housekeeping and 5S at all times.

Accurate Document Control.


Reporting


The ability to produce and report accurate information on safety, quality and production related activities.

Effectively communicate to the relevant stakeholders in order to facilitate optimal decision-making.

National Certificate /Matric Certificate

Professional experience


1-3 years’ experience – Logistics environment (Receiving and Issuing of Products)
Previous experience obtained in a bottling or beverage manufacturing environment is essential.
