Afriforesight, the largest independent commodity research house in Africa, requires an intelligent and ambitious self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for someone who can get results and is not afraid to work hard for it.

Key Responsibilities: *
You will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with our corporate clients. Your goal will be 90% retention (some merge or close down) by really looking after our clients.
Ensuring that clients optimally utilise our forecasts and analysis. This includes arranging meetings for our economists, organising presentations by our specialists, as well as coordinating arrangements for our conferences and other events.
Act as a bridge between our company and our clients by anticipating their needs, as well as by providing information about other products and services that could assist them. This requires having an excellent knowledge of our products & services and being interested in the economy and global affairs.
Respond promptly to client enquiries and troubleshoot any problems. You will be trained to use Microsoft Access Database to manage and update all interactions and “follow ups”.
The ideal candidate must have the following attributes:

Minimum Requirements:

Any University degree; graduates are welcome to apply

At least a ‘B’ for Matric English HG or University equivalent

Exceptional communication skills and a high client service orientation

Highly organized, efficient, and comfortable with sticking to strict deadlines

We work hard and we work fast. You need a strong work ethic to survive here.

Advantage:

BCom degree

Previous experience in client services

An interest in global and economic affairs

Remuneration: Negotiable - depending on experience, skills and qualifications
