Richfield is looking for a dynamic, experienced Collections Specialist that will serve as a first level responder to omnichannel student inquiries, liaising with various stakeholders to deliver prompt support and query resolution.

Plays a fundamental role in supporting our vision of being a student-centric business, providing world-class service to thousands of students nationally.

The successful incumbent will work with the Student Success Manager to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation in respect of every student’s experience at our institution.

The role includes but not limited to:

Ø Manage a portfolio of students and deal with inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp and Web Live chats and emails from these students.

Ø Ensure that the student’s fees are collected monthly, following strict and defined credit control policies and procedures.

Ø Respond to student inquiries with efficiency, courtesy, urgency, and enthusiasm, at time managing multiple students and lines of communication at once.

Ø Identify and clarify student concerns and provide solutions to mitigate repeat queries.

Ø Follow up proactively at various points on the student’s journey to support a superior learning experience.

Ø Respond to internal queries

Ø Maintaining and updating students records on ITS

Ø Admin work for the department

Ø Monthly departmental audits

knowledge and Skills:

Communication Skills: Well-spoken. Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly
and effectively, aggressively follow-up, by phone, system notes, email, etc. * Proficient in understanding accounting concepts

Detail Oriented: Careful and with a focus on quality in accomplishing tasks.
Time-Management: Manages own time; takes personal responsibility for timeliness of
work priorities and resources to achieve results and goals. * Ethics: Has personal and professional ethics and fosters a diverse and respectful
workplace. * Technological: Demonstrates intermediate ability to use technology to create efficient
processes and organizational methods. * Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team setting

High level of personal interaction, both internal and external.
A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Higher EducationQualifications/Experience/Minimum requirements
Degree/Diploma or Other relevant Qualifications will be an advantage
Two years’ experience working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Strong credit control knowledge
ITS experience preferable
