The Head of Sales Operations manages and improves sales force productivity in a rapidly expanding work force. The candidate needs strong motivational skills to ensure a positive working environment that drives sales momentum.


The ability to understand the commercial drivers of each sales campaign and control operating variables to maximise yield is a key requirement.


The candidate will ensure that appropriate reporting and training tools are developed and deployed that constantly enhance productivity. Production of real-time accurate, management information is also a key requirement.


The Head of Sales Operations is a senior position and the successful candidate must have a strong personality and the drive to constantly achieve targets and thereby command the respect of the work-force and peer group.

DUTIES

Maximise work-place attendance and productive talk-time.
Ensure alignment of KPAs across the workforce and all management layers
Drive, implement and measure all sales work-place training and operating initiatives
Understand the commercial construct of each campaign and propose appropriate commission/reward initiatives in line with company policy
Identify and drive campaign specific innovation to improve productivity and achieve commercial gains
Ensure provision of accurate, regular, real-time management reporting to key internal stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 years sales operations management experience within an outbound call center environment middle management level
Local telecommunications sales management experience essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Tertiary degree or equivalent experience in leading large & diverse teams
Experience working effectively with internal business units
