This fully remote role, is responsible for creating and updating copy across Convert's assets to align with the voice of the brand and to optimize conversions.
In a typical week you’ll:
Create copy for all areas of the organization
Keep the website updated with fresh inputs from market research, customer feedback and new badges
Work with other roles to optimize landing pages that are the destination of PPC drives
Apply LPO principles to improve conversions
Facilitate site maintenance with webmaster
To be a strong candidate you should:
Be really seasoned at copy that is non-salesy and more conversational
Understand Conversion copywriting. At least the basics
Know how to create copy for Facebook and LinkedIn paid ads too
Be responsive and capable of meeting deadlines
We sometimes have urgent requirements here at Convert when we operate in startup mode. So responding 48 hours after a Slack message has been sent or an Asana task assigned is just not done.
Bonus Points:
CRO knowledge is a plus, and highly favored.
Time: 5 - 7 hours per week.

It’s okay if you’re awkward or get self conscious as we aren’t looking for media stars and we don't require you to be a video or audio editing whizz! As you know, we are a 100% distributed team so let’s see how you approach these aspects of communication!
