Our client is looking for a dynamic Events Administrator to join their team.
The Events Administrator’s responsibility is to support the Event Executives and Event Manager with administrative tasks, reporting and requisition management. In addition to this, the Events Administrator is required to take responsibility of repeat event contracts.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Assist with Administrative and Secretarial Duties

Generate quotes as requested by management or EE
Assist the department with general administrative tasks
Pull EBMS reports for weekly meetings
Follow up on release dates for repeat events
Contract management for repeat events (issue, follow-ups and contract and addendum submissions)
Drawing up of discount forms for repeat events as required by the event executives
Loading of programmes, service orders and requisitions in EBMS as required by event executives
Assist the Events Manager with completing feedback in the Age Analysis
Calendar management: scheduling of meetings
Assist the department by answering telephone calls in line with CTICC standards
Booking of repeat events for the event executives
Produce minutes for departmental events
Ensure highway signage is up to date

Coordination of Internal Events

Determine requirements for internal meetings, around 300 per annum
Project management of internal events for various departments including programme/schedule, food and beverage, audio visual, health and safety, entertainment, decoration, layouts and table plan requirements
Assist with client site inspections
Coordinate client relations management (CRM) events for the department

Minimum Qualifications and experience required:

Matric or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
Certificate in Events Management, Tourism or Hospitality (NQF level 5)
One year event administration experience
Computer literacy on various computer software programs
