(Negotiable depending on experience and qualification)

DigiTV is a division of Digicommunications, is a leading company which specializes in live streaming and video content for schools. We enable schools to have their own School TV Channel through our web-based platform in a controlled access way.

Role**

As a Video Producer, you are responsible for the development, design, execution of creative concepts and all activities relevant for the school’s own TV Channel. You will work within a school environment as part of the education staff, collaborate and train school children as a production crew to run the Schools TV Channel.

Responsibilities**

Lead the process with production crew and school to generate creative video concepts for all activities and other that increase engagement.
Responsible for ensuring the video concepts are executed to original brief and per schedule/calendar.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery according to schedule and quality standards
Manage the video team and all phases of video pre-production, production and post-production.
Planning of production events, scheduling of activities in connection with schools’ calendar
Collaborate with schools’ marketing and communications team to execute relevant information on all communications channels
Assume a mentorship and training role to grow the technical skills of the video team and production crew.
Proactively conduct project evaluations, recognising trends and offer ideas on.
Requirements: **

Our ideal Candidate should have the following minimum requirements: **

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Technical knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs:
Microsoft Office, software editing programs.
Technology revolving around digital video including, knowledge but not limited to editing and graphic software, DSLR video, video camera recorders, audio recording, video compression, hard drives, and storage systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Healthy Interest in media and communication.
Able to work without supervision.
Matric Certificate or relevant formal qualifications, Media.
Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
