A 4 star hotel is looking for a Hotel Housekeeper with the following specifications:

To oversee all housekeeping staff in completing their daily duties and
ensuring that all Hotel rooms, public areas, and laundry are at their best to
achieve maximum guest service. If you meet the criteria below, then I would
like to hear from you

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

·
To
ensure that the day to day operations of the housekeeping department are
carried out according to the standards of the company and as specified by
senior management

·
To
manage, delegate, support and assist housekeeping personnel as required

·
To
ensure that all housekeeping personnel are being briefed on their daily duties
and any other information pertaining to the department at the start of their
shift

·
To lead
by example with appearance and personal hygiene and to ensure that all
housekeeping personnel on shift look neat and professional in their respective
uniforms

·
To
ensure that the cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of guest rooms and public
areas are maintained at all times according to company standards

·
To
ensure that all repair and maintenance problems that need attention are
reported to the relevant departments and to ensure the appropriate action is
taken

·
To
carry out on the job training to ensure that personnel are constantly growing
and improving

·
To maintain
a positive attitude and a courteous and professional demeanour at all times

·
To
anticipate and respond to all guest needs quickly, efficiently and courteously

·
To
ensure that any guest complaints are resolved quickly, efficiently and
courteously and brought to the attention of senior management

·
To
ensure that monthly stock takes are carried out

·
To
accurately maintain the linen stock

·
To
maintain housekeeping consumable stock

·
To
communicate with all other operating departments to ensure that they are informed
of any/all matters that concern them

·
To
follow all reasonable instructions

·
To
report any breach of company policy to senior management

·
To
perform regular inspections of laundry, public areas, and rooms

Character Traits:

Good computer and administration
skills

The ability to liaise and work with
various cultures and religions
