Looking for a BI Support Analyst that will field Business Intelligence tickets logged against the area. This Service desk provides first line and second line support, addressing the queries in the shortest possible time.
Develop a clear process for dissemination of information while taking into account POPI.
Must be able to extract data from all environments within EIS (Oracle, SAS and EVA).
Identify opportunities to develop interfaces/reports for repeated queries and share with development team so they can be added to plans.
Incident / Ticket Management of Operational Support delivery
User requests for a variety of data enquiries, extracts, investigations, information and investigations
All day-to-day processing and related functions to provide required outputs to business and downstream consumers
Skill set needed:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role environment including scripting, reporting & data visualization.
Highly proficient in SQL
Experience in Power BI and OBIEE.
Telecommunications experience is a plus
Worked in environments with large data volumes
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SASS) would be advantageous.
Confident in engaging with stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Needs to be self-driven
Knowledge of industry leading Business Intelligence support practices
Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to business intelligence
