Brief Description:
A consulting firm is on the lookout for an Industrial Engineer, with solid design experience in manufacturing environment preferably in the automotive industry. Experience in Six Sigma, visual management and lean manufacturing environment is key.

Qualification:

BTech in Mechanical Engineering

BTech in Industrial Engineering

Or equivalent required


Skills & Experience:

Understanding of time study and production line balancing, 3D Modeling Software Experience, NX Unigraphics Dassault Composer and Siemens Team Center (would be an advantage)

You will work with the engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility

Set-up detailed production line process models detailing how and where sub-assemblies get installed on the production floor, as well as investigate issues found on the production line and the corrective action(s) thereof

The Manufacturing Engineer forms part of the engineering release process and will be responsible for industrial and process engineering related functions within his / her scope of responsibility

Willing to travel overseas for variable periods

Minimum 1 year experience


Job Description:

Experience in manufacturing environment preferably in the automotive industry.

Experience in Six Sigma, visual management and lean manufacturing environment.

Production orientated and hands-on experience.

Experienced with lab works programming.

Software experience in Solidworks composer, Autodesk inventor and NX Unigraphs are advantageous.

Understanding of time study and line balancing.

Need to be comfortable in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priority simultaneously.
