Company Description

Self Designed and Self Manufacturing company of a wide range of products are looking for a self driven, motivated and reliable in house sales person.

Skills Required to perform the function


2.1 Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Afrikaans

2.2 Must be computer literate


Primary Duties


3.1 Phone customers as set out by the Sales Manager.

3.2 Build customer relations.

3.3 Adhere to Company policies and procedures.

3.4 Produce the necessary reports as set out by the Sales Manager.

3.5 Need to reach monthly Sales Budgets and Targets as set out from month to month.

3.6 Do a daily financial recon that needs to balance to cash book, you will be liable for any shortages on cash .

3.7 Answering of incoming phone calls.

3.8 Assisting external sales people in what is needed.

3.9 Filing and all admin duties.

3.10 Invoicing of all incoming orders.

3.11 To ensure that Debtors has passed all credit notes as noted on invoices.

3.12 To ensure the truck leaves no later than 08H30 in the mornings

3.13 If the driver is late, someone must stay and ensure truck is locked inside and all cash is taken from driver.

3.14 Ensure all warrantee job cards are invoiced if spares from stores have been used.

4. Secondary Duties


4.1 Be pro active in trying to prevent theft or to report any wrong doings by other staff members.

4.2 Must be prepared to work overtime as per the operational requirements of the company.

4.3 Must ensure that his/her working area is tidy at the end of each working day

4.4 Must adhere to the health and safety requirements of the company.

4.5 When interacting with customers, he/she must act in such a manner that promotes the image of the company at all times.


5. General


5.1 The person must be a team player who is prepared to assist other employees when they are on leave or sick.

5.2 The person must have a strong character and be able to stand up for their point of view.

5.3 Must be able to interact with employees who are demanding.

5.4 Be a proactive thinker, good planner, diligent about there works.

5.5 Very neat and proud of the work that they complete.

5.6 Be able to work at the standard set by the company.

5.7 Must be able to work in an Industrial Area.


Qualifications

Matric

Sales diploma advantageous
