The Successful Candidate Responsibilities:

Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures
Liaise with all Service Providers, Principals and Transporters on an ongoing basis
Keep Principals updated daily and ensure deadlines are met
Cargo Tracking / Delivery Scheduling
Customs Refunds
Stock Reporting
Road Bond and Acquittal Management

Applicants should meet the following Requirements:

Knowledge of the Clearing and Forwarding processes relevant to industry
Experience working on shipshape
A minimum of 3 years shipping experience in a similar position – imports/exports (including cross border clearances, bonded cargo)
Minimum of 2 years customs framing entry experience
International currencies and Country Codes
Basic International Trade Principles
Applicable sections of Import and Export Control Act- Knowledge of all relevant Acts
Knowledge of INCO Terms
Tariff Classification and Tariff calculation concepts
Shows initiative
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Attention to detail
