Description:
A company specialising in the development, manufacturing and distribution of a broad range of products for the Agrochemical market is seeking a suitable qualified Myco Production Administrator to join their team. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: Administrative duties such as: Stock-take of all consumables for laboratories; Ordering of all consumables for laboratories; Managing budgets (all laboratories); Sending and receiving (and correct storage) of parcels (from/to clients and collaborating organizations); Running the cleaning schedule (Laboratories); Following up on external and internal reports as needed; Run filing system as well as manages the SOPs and protocol library; Run servicing of all laboratory equipment schedule; Lead and facilitates communication and allocation of resources (consumables and staff members) between different departments (teamwork to improve efficiency); Manages cleaners. QC Specialist duties: Root-staining (in-house, collaborative organizations and clients); QC (wash and count) of myco (Lead); Management of myco stock-take and database; Issuing relevant reports to clients and collaborative organizations (root-staining and shelf-life extension); Maintaining mother cultures (Lead). Health and Safety duties include: Facilitate Planned Job Observations (PJO’s) and 3x3’s (all laboratories).

Remuneration:
Market-related based on experience.
