As part of the EOH Youth Job Creation Initiative, ProServ South Africa is implementing various Learnership and internship programmes with a number of companies. The Learnerships are aimed at Matriculants to facilitate the linkage between structured learning and work experience in order to obtain a registered qualification .

A Learnership or Internship will provide an individual with not only theoretical training; it will also provide the individual with practical work experience. In fact 70% of a Learnership is providing the candidate with Practical Work Experience.

Currently we are looking for individuals who would like to learn more about Professional Driving. This Learnership is aimed at developing a driver into a professional driver by providing a broad range of competencies, which include communication skills, writing skills, customer service, general business understanding, and additional practical driving skills over and above a license. Any business will benefit from professional drivers able to enhance customer service by performing productively. The purpose of this qualification is to ensure competent professional driving competencies and to improve the capacity of professional drivers as well as to enhance professionalism in transport sector. The outcomes of this Learnership include:

Obtain and communicate road transport operational information.
Assess loads against given permissible load requirements.
Plan road transport service delivery that meets specified requirements.
Drive a vehicle conveying a specific freight commodity or category of passengers.
