JOB PURPOSE
Releasing of the daily work captured in the outward payments , and ensuring risk mitigation through releasing transactions within the relevant currency cut off times
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Get the next transaction pending release from the processing hub
Verify that work is captured accurately by the payments processing officers by using the relevant checklist
In verification process ,if an error is identified ,the transaction must be returned to sender
Ensure that at the end of each day all pending releasing transactions are actioned.
Ensuring accurate releasing of transactions thereby mitigating errors and avoiding losses by adhering to laid down procedures
Ensuring that correct revenue is recovered as per the concessionary pricing list on the SharePoint site.
Ensure that all routine controls relative to the service area are applied effectively to ensure that risk is minimised.
Ensure that all preventative measures are utilised to avoid fraudulent transactions

QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Banking
3-4 Years Experience within a foreign payments environment as well as Society for worldwide international financial telecommunications (SWIFT)
3-4 Retail Forex System,Trade Finance system, Intellimatch, Bank credit systems
