Continue to APPLY!The primary function of this role is to ensure that e-commerce customer orders are fulfilled accurately and timeously, from receipt of order through the ecommerce web site store to the courier drop off at the customers’ delivery address. This role involves verifying ecommerce orders are accurately transferred/processed in the Pastel ERP system, ensuring stock is picked and packed, courier deliveries are scheduled and executed timeously. This role coordinates the activities of the DC team member responsible for ecommerce picking/packing to ensure timely deliveries. This is a process responsibility and not a people management responsibility.
A secondary function is to process store orders for backup raw material stock (primarily supplied by Digistics), smalls and uniforms. This is a much lower volume than ecommerce order process/fulfilment. This involves capturing orders, initiating picking and packing in the DC, issuing of Invoices and Credit notes to stores/customers, verifying accuracy of billing received from Clients for COD payments (where applicable) and handling related queries. This role also ensures customer records are up to date by liaising with finance. A customer centric mindset is necessary as this role plays a key customer order/service fulfilment function.
