Requirements A grade 12 and relevant work experience
Demonstrate an understanding of the required storage conditions of pharmaceutical products and the ability to apply this knowledge accordingly
Understand and effectively apply hygiene standards within the Pharmacy
Follows instructions through standard work-orders for assigned tasks
Uses available tools to organise basic work routine and prompt follow-up action
Exhibit full responsibility for own work achievements and consistently maintain a high level of self-management that contributes to sustained high performance
Willingness to work after-hours / overtime (including weekends) when required
Key Outputs Responsible for collecting and delivering pharmacy documents/scripts to wards according to pharmacy procedures
To fulfil a messenger and administrative service in order to ensure client satisfaction
Ensure the filing system is in place for all relevant documentation
Confidentiality of patient information is ensured
The ability to work well with others in a team or unit
Correct information must be provided to clients
The ability to handle/pack and move heavy pharmacy stock objects in the pharmacy store and handling of hazardous items.
