Sales Representative Job Description
Reporting to National / Regional Sales Manager
Representing the company and selling the companies’ products in the
geographical territory allocated in all trade segments including off
consumption, on consumption and wholesale
Monthly sales target achievement
Target achievement on brand plan, mechanisms and trade deal
implementations
Ensure communication to all customers on trade deals, specials, stock
availability, etc.
Effective customer relationship management and visiting customers
according to the call cycle
Achieve 100% call rating according to calling cycle, measured by CRM system
Completing client visits according to KPI requirements noting price, position,
space, SOH and BB dates
Client information to be continuously updated on CRM system, including
store manager birthdays, email details & liquor licenses.
Dealing with customer queries
Route planning and customer rating
New business development by identifying new clients / opportunities and
cold calling on these
Planning and arranging of activations
Generate activity and result reports
Order taking and processing through correct channels
Knowing who the opposition brands are and tracking them to know what
they’re doing in the trade and what they do to achieve success (know cost,
markup, price points, discounts and deals)
