Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales
Explain products, services, prices, answer questions from customers
Record names, addresses, purchases and reactions of prospects contacted
Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
Work on database daily β by obtaining names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as making direct telephone calls, internet, social media and lists purchased from other organisations
Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
Telephone or write emails to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts
Maintain records of contacts
Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations
Organise/maintain filing system
Prepare documents, schedule appointments, answer telephones, type documents and support requests made by operating executive in line with the brand
Requirements
Must have own laptop
Must be available three days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Fluent in English language both written and spoken
Strong telephone and communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Good level of computer proficiency
MS Office knowledge
Great organisational skills
Time and deadline management
Attention to detail very essential
Positive-can-do attitude
Must be based in Johannesburg
