Our client, a producer and supplier of fresh produce with Head Offices in Paarl, is looking for a Tomato & Cucumber Grower at their VIOOLSDRIFT Farm.

This position will report to the Farm Manager.


This position makes provision for a partner or a family member to also be utilized within the company.

Preference given to candidates from the Western Cape willing to relocate.



Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate
Tertiary Education i.e. Diploma/Degree in Agriculture
At least 5-10 years vegetable farming experience
Must be a self-starter
Must be able to function independently
Strong Leadership skills
Very good communication skills
Deadline driven
Must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed

Irrigation & Fertigation
Insect & Disease Control
Audit compliance
Pruning & De-leafing
Harvesting
Structural maintenance
Irrigation system maintenance
