Grade 12
NTC II in Water & Wastewater + Class II process controller certificate or
NQFL3 in Water and Wastewater + Class II process controller certificate
2 years’ experience in water purification processes
Driver’s licence will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following.
Key performance areas:
Process Control: Ensure sufficient chemical dosing, prepare chemical mixtures
Perform backwashing of sand filters
Perform desludging of sedimentation tanks
Perform field test
Operation and control of purification process
House keeping
Assist in infrastructure maintenance
Adhere to OHS act.
Record process data in an operational logbook
Relief other water operators
