• Develop, implement and report back on Shopper Marketing plans for selected key accounts/ brands
• Work in conjunction with the Brand Marketing and Key Account teams to translate the brand and commercial strategies into customer marketing objectives
• In-store Marketing: Pulling brand initiatives into store, including planning (WIP docs, timing plans), implementation (trade briefs, display compliance) and measurement (PCA) of applicable brand initiatives. Leverage regional opportunities by communicating all promotional elements to support instore marketing programs and by growing relationships with RSM’s
• Develop and implement improved new generation in-store displays (permanent)
• Identify key trade opportunities, this includes maximizing in-trade opportunities (ranging, distribution, merchandising and visibility) as well as providing/ driving ideas across regions and key accounts (through frequent trade visits)
• POS development/ execution (ad-hoc and campaigns), including proactively sharing information with internal stakeholders (SA + Intl TM team)
• Deliver accurate AYR product catalogue (updated as required)
• Frequent trade visits
• Generate ideas and suggest improvements to TM practices/ processes and in-store activity
• Manage all aspects of the applicable in-store activations taking into account the brand objectives as well as the account/shopper dynamics
• Manage the implementation and measurement of all in-store initiatives
• Utilize relevant business analysis tools to assist in developing customer plans and strategies
• Keep abreast of changes within the trade environment
• Achieve NNTS and COOP as defined in the BU (and revised in Les)
• Competitor promotional tracker

• High level of initiative, able to drive projects independently

Qualifications/experience

• Relevant tertiary marketing degree/diploma
• A minimum of four years’ relevant experience and understanding of the general challenges and daily business of the FMCG industry, specifically within a Trade Marketing or Customer Marketing context
• Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications and packages used
