Large supply chain specialist to the fruit sector is seeking Financial Controller to join their team in Stellenbosch.

This role is ideal for an individual who has a passion for figures and doing things right the first time.

Requirements:

Relevant Financial Tertiary qualification

1 – 2 years experience with costing, invoicing and payments

Fluent in Afrikaans and English – Essential

Own reliable transport

Ability to work under immense pressure

Some duties – not limited to:

Assist Accountant with recons

Reconcile all payments monthly basis

Familiarize yourself with standard costing, deal types etc

Ad Hoc month end duties

Check advices with final payment instruction file per currency

Check that correct advances gets deducted from final advice

Give final advices to commercial team for final sign off within the given deadline for payment cut off

Deduct any recharge invoices form final payments

Prepare tax invoices and check with final advice

Ensure all paperwork are in order to release payments
