My client based in George in the Western Cape is seeing to employ a Registered Nurse with Home Based care experience.

Working hours: 8 hours per day / on call from 07h00 to 19h00
Salary: Market related
Area: George - Western Cape
Reporting to: The Nursing Services Manager / Executive Management
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

Coordinate and manage allocated home nursing services
Assessment and continuous monitoring of patients
Placement and orientation of care workers
Perform nursing procedures, e.g. IV; wound care etc
Quality control of home nursing performed
Compiling of all reports as required
Represent the company in the community and at medical institutions where required
Continuous in-service training of care workers in conjunction with the HR Department and Nursing Services manager
Be on stand-by for any emergency calls during office hours and after hours on-call on rotation basis
Minimum requirement to apply:

Registered Nurse, registered with SANC
Very keen interest in community healthcare services
Knowledge and practical experience of the clinical and administrative requirements and procedures that is expected within the remit of a Registered nurse
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership
Dedication
Loyalty and integrity
Excellent organisational skills
