A private hospital based in Cape Town is seeking to employ at Registered Nurse in the Paediatric Ward

The hospital is situated in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town, it is a 226-bed hospital, 12 theatres, an accident and emergency unit with a doctor on duty 24/7, as well as state-of-the-art diagnostic and monitoring equipment. New technology includes the first da Vinci X robotic surgical system in Africa. There is a dedicated team of first-class health professionals at this hospital dedicated to delivering a special brand of healthcare to patients. Critical outputs:

Assist the unit to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that paediatric nursing care activities are carried out to comply with SANC regulations, the relevant legislation and the hospital groups polices and procedures.
A passion for paediatric nursing and a strong nursing ethos concerning the involvement of families in a holistic approach to care
A commitment to your own development and keeping abreast of current developments
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Minimum requirements to apply:

Applicant needs to be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
A child care certificate or a diploma in paediatric nursing will be an advantage
Experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in the private healthcare sector
Willing to work flexible nursing hours
Salary: Market related with benefits
